learning to love those that don’t love those you love the most. did that make sense? anyways, perhaps this is something God’ll teach me while in VN.
QUICK RECAP OF FRIDAY and SATURDAY: i had a crazy friday — got a call from betty inviting me to hang out w/ the orphans in TJ mexico — thats when i drove to sGV to meet up w/ Alex, then to my house to pick up my passport, BACK to UCLA for friday night cool group mtg. I JUST made it in time. SIGHS of relief. =) hit the sack around 1:30AM — woke up at 5:15AM and off to TJ, MEXICO at 7AM. ((side note: circle K is awesome)). Hung out w/ the kids… SO CUTE but kids can also be such brats as well! I hate my spanish. The whole time I was there, I was thinking about how I wish myles or my cousin cat would be there to help me w/ my spanish. damn spanish language — oh how i hate thee. It’s only because I have such a hard time picking it up.
friday night cool group: i caught the end of it — just in time to say good bye to everyone and just in time to take advantage of their prayer powers. 
i felt refreshed and lovedddddddddddd. like L-O-V-E, LOVE. some things were spoken over me and I felt it was confirming why im going to VN — new perspective. learning more about jesus through His lens. Looking fwd to a whole new pair of glasses…a new holistic view of Jesus and his corazon. *wink nudge.
Earlier that day, I hung out w/ my friend Alex. He’s visiting from NYC and he hit me up. had pho (gross) — he did, not i. I had that broken rice dish… same o same o. it was so nice to see him again. afterwards, it was NUBI time. yay-YUH! that’s how i rolllll.
by the end of friday night — I was left w/ only 10% to fundraise. HOORAYS
And then today happened — SATURDAY happened. my aunt is so generous. I love my aunt — I only came to really say goodbye to her before I leave for the motherland. again, you never know what may happen right? I also got to see cat face — my OCD’ness came out when she mentioned myers-briggs. haha.
After tonight, I am only down to 5%. Hoorays, Jesus. interestingly enough, most if not all of my supporters have been from ppl that do not know me that well. strange, but super cool. thank you baby Jesus. Yet again, He provides.
